Yorkville University was established in 2003 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The University is private and non-denominational, delivering practitioner-oriented degree programs that bridge the gap between theory and practice, leading to rewarding professional careers.
In March 2004, the Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labor granted designation status, approving Yorkville University as a degree granting institution authorized to offer the Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP). In October 2011, the University was granted the authority to offer a Master of Education in Adult Education (M.Ed.). and in 2012, the authority to offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. In 2015, the university received consent to offer a Master of Education in Educational Leadership which it recently launched.
RCC Institute of Technology became an Ontario division of Yorkville University in 2007, and in 2009, RCCIT acquired the Academy of Design and the Toronto Film School. Today, RCCIT delivers professional degree and diploma programs in business, technology and design, largely delivered on-campus but with some online offerings.
In 2015, Yorkville University was granted authority in British Columbia to offer a Bachelor of Business Administration, with specializations in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Energy Management.

Bachelor of Interior Design
The program’s practitioner oriented and skills-based approach equips students with the skills required to become an interior designer and launch a rewarding career in a growing and competitive marketplace.

Bachelor of Business Administration- Energy Management
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management gives an in-depth understanding of federal and provincial government energy policies. The program covers factors influencing energy prices, the impacts of global government policy on energy development, and the design, scheduling, operations and control of energy production. Students will develop a thorough knowledge of domestic and international energy issues and guidelines, and will grasp developing impact assessments, energy audits and the construction of business cases for initiating sustainable energy consumption modifications.
The specialization culminates in a Capstone course, in which students will work in teams to develop on executable supply chain strategy and implementation plan for a company that is seeking to enter a new foreign market.
Bachelor of Business Administration- Accounting
The Accounting specialization is designed to help students acquire both their undergraduate degree, and the skills, education and knowledge to work towards Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) status.
The specialization aligns with the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) and the Canadian Payroll Association(CPA)
Bachelor of Business Administration Supply Chain Management
The bachelor of business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management is designed to provide students with an understanding of the systems and decision-making required for a successful career in the supply chain management field.
The specialization culminates in a Capstone course, where students will work in teams to develop an impact assessment of a proposed new energy project within Canadian jurisdiction.
Bachelor of Business Administration Project Management
The Bachelor of business Administration in Project Management has been developed as a multi0diciplinary study of business administration. It prepares students to meet the challenges of the contemporary workplace by facilitating their understanding of a balanced and informed approach to decision making.
The program content has been developed and structured to align with the requirements established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Students will also compare various project life cycle to agile project management and thoroughly work through all elements of the Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®Guide).
